Governor Roy Cooper vetoed the budget passed by the NC General Assembly on June 28th and offered up a counter proposal a week later. This week we sat down with Governor Cooper and discussed the state of the budget, his priorities particularly in education and what’s next now one month into a new fiscal year without a state budget.
