Stacey has been with the NC Center for Resilience & Learning since 2019. As a Sr. Program Manager, Stacey manages a number of the Center’s partnerships with districts and schools, currently serving schools in Lee, Chatham, and Greene Counties. She offers bespoke training, coaching, and consulting to help partner schools and districts improve their trauma-informed practices, building resilience and success for staff and students. Stacey also helps with special projects to advocate for and support more trauma-informed education across the state. Stacey grew up in NC, and earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 with specializations in School Social Work and Child and Family Mental Health. Since then, she has gained a variety of career experience as a psychotherapist, school-based program manager, and trauma-informed consultant and trainer in the Raleigh-Durham area, NC, Boston, MA, and in the United Kingdom. Her life’s passion is helping schools and families create and sustain healing communities where children with complex needs and stressors grow into healthy, connected, engaged adults.
