The Forum Local Ambassador Coalition (FLAC) was introduced in 2025 to connect research and policy to classrooms and communities across the state by making education policy accessible for parents, students, educators, communities, and business leaders– because all of those voices matter in ensuring the best outcomes for students. Local public schools serve students from the mountains to coast whose communities have varying needs, priorities, perspectives, strengths and weakness. FLAC ambassadors provides localized education policy insight by giving presentations in their region, tabling at conferences and other events, and amplifying local stories.
