Stephanie Adams works with Guilford County Schools, where she supports districtwide enrollment strategy and school improvement. She previously served as principal of Washington Elementary School and spent six years as an elementary school principal with KIPP Infinity in New York City, where she led the school’s growth from one grade level to more than 500 students while advancing academic achievement. Stephanie has also served as a teacher, leadership coach, district consultant, and nonprofit leader. She earned her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her doctoral research examines North Carolina’s Opportunity Scholarship program and its implications for adequate funding and support for public schools. She is passionate about ensuring that public schools are well-resourced and equipped to provide every student with a high-quality education. Stephanie is a proud North Carolina educator and resides in Greensboro, NC, with her husband and three daughters.
