For those of you who regularly tune in, you know that we often talk about the importance of the Leandro Case, which is focused on ensuring a sound, basic education for all students. The case has been ongoing for 25 years and yet, many people still don’t know what it could mean for education and students across NC. WRAL produced a documentary about Leandro and interviewed people from across the state on what the case is, why it should matter to you, and why there may finally be a resolution in 2022. Joining us for today’s discussion are the documentary’s producer and leaders from two districts from across the state.
Guests:
- Cristin Severence, Documentary Producer, WRAL
- Dr. Patrick Miller, Superintendent of Greene County Schools
- Dr. Anthony Jackson, Superintendent of Chatham County Schools
