
Dr. Kisha Bryant is the State School Counseling Consultant at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI), where she provides leadership, training, and support for school counselors across the state. With more than 20 years of experience, she has served as a middle and high school counselor in Wake County Public School System and New Hanover County Schools, working in diverse settings including traditional, magnet, and early college programs. She also serves on the board of the North Carolina School Counselor Association and is a licensed clinical mental health counselor.
Dr. Bryant earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University, as well as a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. She is passionate about strengthening mental health supports in underrepresented communities and advancing wellness for students, adults, and organizations. A native North Carolinian, she is the proud mother of two daugthers and a grandmother.
