Holly Ellwanger is a GEAR UP Coordinator in Catawba County, where she partners with students, families, educators, and community leaders to build a culture that supports access to a variety of post-secondary opportunities.She brings a background in education and student support, having served as a Juntos Program Coordinator, a financial aid counselor, and a Multilingual Learner teacher.
A lifelong North Carolinian and native of Greensboro, Holly earned a B.A. in Political Science from NC State University, a Master of Public Administration from UNC Charlotte, and a teaching license from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Her professional passion is helping young people dream big and working to ensure they have access to the education, opportunities, and support they need to turn those dreams into reality.
Holly lives in Conover, NC, with her husband and is the proud mother of three sons.
