Manzell Spencer Jr. is an educator, father, and emerging school administrator who believes relationships, high expectations, and genuine support can change the trajectory of a student’s life. His commitment to students and education led to being named Cumberland County Schools Teacher of the Year and Sandhills Region Teacher of the Year.
As a teacher moving into administration, Manzell wants to bring the voice and perspective of the classroom into school leadership. As a father, he also takes a personal interest in the future of education because the decisions we make today will shape the schools our children inherit. His goal is to support teachers, advocate for students, and help create schools where every student has an opportunity to succeed.
