Madison Martinez is an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher in Wake County with 6 years of prior classroom experience across multiple subjects spanning grades 8-12. Madison earned a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU, and is a National Board Certified teacher. She is currently in the process of applying to law schools. Madison is passionate about providing joyful and just spaces, and previously served a year-long fellowship with the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights and another with the Pathways Project at UC Berkeley. Madison is originally from Boise, Idaho having relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2025. Her professional goal is to work in the educational policy sector helping to advocate at the highest levels for students and educators alike.
