Lucy Russell Pittman

Lucy Russell Pittman is the Strategic Partnerships Manager at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, where she advances Superintendent Mo Green’s vision of “Achieving Educational Excellence.” In this role, she leads stakeholder engagement efforts across North Carolina’s public education ecosystem and beyond, working to strengthen support for the state’s students, educators, and public schools. Her professional experience spans education policy, strategic communications, and public service. She held roles as Communications Director for the Mo Green for NC campaign, education policy researcher at the North Carolina General Assembly, and intern at both the United States Senate and the Public School Forum.
