Kayla Anderson is an Instructional Coach at Northwoods Park Middle School in Onslow County, North Carolina. She also coordinates the Onslow County Schools Teacher Leadership Council and writes for the district’s Teacher Feature blog, where she highlights how teachers across the county are unlocking student potential.
A believer in celebrating the good in public education, Kayla advocates for teaching all children because the students who walk through a school’s doors are the ones it exists to serve.
Kayla holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education (2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing (2013), both from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
