Jennifer Rifkin

Jennifer Rifkin is the Instructional Facilitator at West Millbrook Magnet Middle School in Wake County, an International Baccalaureate school. She coaches and supports a staff of over 70 certified teachers. Previously, Jennifer served as a coordinating teacher in the Academics department in Wake County’s central office, where she supported all middle school English/Language Arts department chairs and teachers, Instructional Facilitators, and other school leaders in curriculum and instruction. Prior to that role, Jennifer taught English/Language Arts in Wake County and Nash-Rocky Mount County. Born in Ohio, she spent most of her childhood in South Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, earning a B.A. in Political Science with honors in African & African Diaspora Studies. Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master’s in Educational Policy & Leadership through American University. Her goal is to transform the educational landscape through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to create a more just, inclusive, and forward-thinking educational environment that empowers every student to succeed. Jennifer resides in Raleigh with her husband and two phenomenal daughters.
