Champion Local Public Schools All Year Long

Every child in North Carolina deserves access to a high-quality education at their local public school—with strong teachers, safe schools, and the resources to thrive. Yet decades of underfunding and voucher expansion are draining our classrooms, leaving too many students without the opportunities they deserve. For 40 years, the Public School Forum has been a trusted leader, shaping policy, training advocates, and driving solutions to protect and strengthen our local public schools. But today, our mission is more urgent than ever—the future of our children and our state cannot wait. By joining the 40 for 40 campaign, you become part of a community of changemakers committed to sustaining this critical work for the next generation.

Your consistent support fuels the Forum’s ability to inform policy, engage communities, and ensure every child—no matter their ZIP code—can thrive in their local public school. The stakes are high, the moment is urgent, and your support allows us to continue working toward our mission of ensuring all North Carolina children have the opportunity to reach their full potential in their local public schools.
