
Dominique Teasley brings nine years of education leadership and policy implementation experience to the North Carolina Education Policy Fellowship. Currently serving as Senior Administrator for Compliance and Employee Relations at Wake County Public Schools, she ensures district-wide alignment with federal and state education laws while advancing equity initiatives across one of the nation’s largest school systems.
As a former principal, Dominique led successful school turnaround efforts, achieving significant academic improvements and reducing achievement gaps through strategic policy implementation and stakeholder engagement. She holds degrees from UNC Chapel Hill and East Carolina University, with a Doctor of Education Leadership in progress.
Originally from Bunn, North Carolina, Dominique is passionate about leveraging policy to create systemic change and seeks to strengthen her advocacy skills to drive equitable improvements for all North Carolina students. When not working, she enjoys cheering on UNC basketball, exploring coffee shops, and supporting local eateries.
