Asha Patel is an Associate Program Officer at The Leon Levine Foundation, where she leads the Foundation’s general operating grant portfolios across its Education and Healthcare mission areas, partnering with more than 130 nonprofit organizations that serve low-income and underserved communities across North and South Carolina. Before joining the Foundation, Asha worked at Road to Hire, where she played a key role in efforts to expand college and career access for underserved students across the region. She began her career as a second-grade teacher with Union County Public Schools. A proud Charlotte native, Asha earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of work, she finds joy in spending time with friends and family.
