Aliyah Evans joined Participate Learning as an Instructional Specialist in 2023. In her current role, she supports international Ambassador Teachers as they adapt to new schools and communities. Through this work, she helps educators navigate their transition while fostering connections that contribute to successful and meaningful teaching experiences.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and an M.Ed. in Urban Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Aliyah brings nearly a decade of experience in education, having previously served as a Success Coach with Communities in Schools of Durham and as a middle school English Language Arts teacher. She has worked across Alamance-Burlington, Guilford, and Rockingham County Schools.
