Joanna Trudnak is a 7th grade math teacher with five years of classroom experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University and went on to complete a master’s degree in Urban Education at UNC Charlotte. Joanna is a proud North Carolina native, originally from Dallas, NC, and now resides in Hickory.
Dedicated to helping students see the real-world value of mathematics, Joanna focuses on building both problem-solving skills and confidence in her classroom. She is passionate about creating an engaging learning environment where all students feel capable of success.
Outside the classroom, Joanna enjoys life at home with her husband and their five-month-old son. Whether it’s family walks, quiet evenings together, or celebrating each new milestone, she treasures the time spent with them most of all.
