Brittany Roberts

Brittany C. Roberts is an educational leader and visionary committed to equity, innovation, and student success. She currently serves as the Founding Head of Schools of Warren Young Explorers School (Warren YES), a new public charter school opening in 2026 in Warrenton, NC. With over ten years of teaching and leadership experience, Brittany has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal resident. She has been recognized for her impact in school turnaround, student achievement, and community engagement.

Brittany is pursuing her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Fayetteville State University, where her dissertation focuses on the recruitment, retention, and burnout of Black female principals and assistant principals in North Carolina. She is also the author of Revelational Insights, a collection of faith-based reflections, and was named a Fayetteville 2024 40 Under 40 recipient. Passionate about leadership development, she aims to mentor future school leaders while fostering equity and excellence for all students.
