Christopher Rice

Chris Rice, MA, CAS, is the Advanced Learning Services Psychologist for the Wake County Public School System. In this role, he supports the advanced learning needs of students in K-12 across the district. In addition to his professional role, Chris serves as the Vice President and Legislative Liaison for the North Carolina Association for the Gifted and Talented (NCAGT) and serves on the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee for the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). Chris earned a BA in Psychology from Syracuse University and his MA/CAS in School Psychology from East Carolina University. Outside of work and volunteering, you can find Chris coaching his son’s lacrosse team or in the woods hiking, biking, or kayaking. Chris resides in Cary, NC with his wife and 9-year-old son.
