40 for 40 Giving Campaign

Every child in North Carolina deserves access to a high-quality education at their local public school—with strong teachers, safe schools, and the resources to thrive. Yet decades of disinvestment are draining our classrooms, leaving too many students without the opportunities they deserve. For 40 years, the Public School Forum has been a trusted leader, shaping policy, training advocates, and driving solutions to protect and strengthen our local public schools. But today, our mission is more urgent than ever—the future of our children and our state cannot wait.

In recognition of both our anniversary and the urgency of the times, we hope to encourage supporters to join the 40 for 40 Monthly Giving Circle at each of the tier levels below to join us in championing local public schools all year long as we reflect on just how far we’ve come, and gear up to continue on the path toward a high-quality, equitable education for every child in North Carolina.

The first 40 donors to join will be celebrated as the Founding Forum 40—the inaugural circle of supporters whose early commitment honors our 40-year legacy while helping build a brighter future for every student.

Your consistent support fuels the Forum’s ability to inform policy, engage communities, and ensure every child—no matter their ZIP code—can thrive in their local public school. The stakes are high, the moment is urgent, and your support allows us to continue working toward our mission of ensuring all North Carolina children have the opportunity to reach their full potential in their local public schools.
