As part of this mission, we have hosted various candidate forums and debates throughout our history. This debate will be hosted by the Public School Forum of NC and was made possible at the invitation of the Moore County Board of Education. This year’s election for Superintendent of Public Instruction will have a significant impact on public education in our state moving forward. Because of this, we believe it is imperative that every voter has a chance to hear from the candidates on critical issues related to education. Through our engagement with education stakeholders, we repeatedly hear that rural counties often feel left out of statewide policy conversations. We are holding this debate in Moore County to reach an audience of voters who may not be reached directly otherwise.
At this pivotal moment for public education, all voters must be informed. Join us to learn more about what each candidate envisions for the future of our schools. Registration is open now.
