Meridith Whitaker

Meridith is new to the field of education, having spent nearly 11 years in philanthropy (with a focus on donor relations and marketing) at The Winston-Salem Foundation before joining the Public School Forum staff in May of 2023. In her role as development manager for the Forum, Meridith coordinates individual and corporate giving, sponsorships, and grants. She has strong ties to North Carolina; she, her husband, her parents, in-laws, and both sets of grandparents were born and raised here. Meridith has two young sons and lives in Winston-Salem with her family. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s in Public Relations, and is a 2016 Leadership Winston-Salem graduate.
