Hi! I’m Gilly Hill, the Assistant Principal for Instruction at one of two App State lab schools- The Academy at Elkin; located in beautiful Elkin, NC. The school opened its doors last year, serving students in grades 2-4. It is a magical place to learn and grow for students, staff & families and I absolutely love my job every single day!
I live in Winston-Salem, N.C. with my almost 18 year old daughter, 2 dogs and a cat. My husband is the Director of Special Education in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I am a proud App State & UNCG grad. My father, my brother & his family live near Boone, so I get to visit the mountains often!
