NC Education Partners

In 2014, the Public School Forum of North Carolina re-launched its ongoing initiative to connect local business-education partnerships across the state. The group, NC Education Partners (formerly NC Partners), provides a platform for information and best practice sharing, while creating opportunities for collaboration and joint capacity-building initiatives. As participants, partnerships are given the opportunity to discuss what is happening in their communities, their efforts to support local school systems, and ways they could work together to advance public education in North Carolina. The Public School Forum serves as the convener of this group and provides expertise in state level education legislation and education research.

The overall goal of NC Education Partners is to promote and support the network of education organizations across our state that are working in their communities to bring business leaders, elected officials, educators and non-profits together to support their local public schools. This concept was first created by the Forum in 1995 with the original NC Partners.

All local business-education partnerships in North Carolina are invited to join the NC Education Partners. The group meets quarterly, through both in-person and virtual meetings.
