Courtney Fadley

Courtney Fadley is an educator intrigued by the natural curiosity and wonder students bring to learning and has dedicated her career to valuing and uplifting the voices and inquires of young people. Courtney graduated from TCU in Fort Worth, TX and began her career as a middle school science teacher. To learn more about the broader education system in her city, Courtney left the classroom and joined Education Opens Doors (EOD) to write curriculum and launch EOD’s first full program. She continued to revise and expand the student guidebook, teacher professional development, and curriculum resources for six years with the program reaching nearly 100,000 students to date. In 2019, Courtney shifted her focus to local public school organizing and advocacy work in her northwest Dallas community until moving to Winston-Salem in 2022 to complete a master’s degree in education from Wake Forest University. Courtney, her spouse, Ryan, and their three young boys continue to love outdoor adventures and learning ways to invest in and appreciate the beauty of their new city and state.
