RALEIGH, NC (October 20, 2015) – The Public School Forum of North Carolina has been awarded a 3-year, $90,000 grant from the A.J. Fletcher Foundation to support strategic planning and capacity-building at the Forum.
This grant continues Fletcher Foundation’s longstanding support for the Forum’s work to support education initiatives, previously providing funding for the Forum’s NC Center for Afterschool Programs. This renewed commitment ensures the Public School Forum has the necessary resources to strengthen engagement with donors, create a long-term plan for growth and sustainability, and carry out its mission even more effectively.
“This grant from the Fletcher Foundation will support our efforts that began in earnest last year to build a new advancement, development and fundraising infrastructure to support our mission to support public education across the state,” said Forum President and Executive Director Keith Poston.
