RALEIGH, NC (August 7, 2014) – The Public School Forum of North Carolina is pleased to announce it has received $555,000 in new grant funding, as well as $64,000 of in-kind support, to support the group’s education research and policy work aimed at shaping world-class public schools in North Carolina.

The new grants include:

• GSK Corporation                                   $25,000

“These investments will support our efforts to connect people from business, education and government, drive consensus-based education policy and shape world-class public schools in North Carolina,” said Keith Poston, President and Executive Director, Public School Forum of North Carolina. “We are extremely grateful to receive this support from these organizations, true public education champions in their own right, particularly at a time when finding nonpartisan common ground in education policy is more important than ever before.”
