Recruitment is underway for the 2010-11 EPFP class. The North Carolina Education Policy Fellowship Program has existed in North Carolina since 1979. Affiliated with the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) in Washington, DC, EPFP is an in-service leadership and policy development program for mid-career professionals who work full-time in education, health and human services, public, private and non-profit sectors, business, and communities. The Fellow is supported by a tuition grant of $2,700 from his/her sponsor and financial support for travel and accommodations to one national conference. North Carolina EPFP Highlights for 2010-11
Dates: September 14, 2010- May 17, 2011 (Tuesday nights except special events.)
Special Date: 2009-10 Graduation: Tuesday, October 26, 2010, Cardinal Club, Raleigh.

Site of Meetings: Public School Forum Conference Center
Glenwood Place, 3739 National Drive, Cumberland Building, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27612
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Catered dinner followed by program.)
First meeting only begins at 2:30 pm. All others begin at 5:30 pm.
Tuition: $2,700 (In addition to the tuition, the Sponsor also pays for travel/hotel for the
Washington Policy Seminar (WPS) in Washington, DC. The sponsor will be invoiced by the Public School Forum in early October.)
Natl. Conference: April 3-6, 2011: Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW, Washington, DC (rate s/d $273).
